Chromophobe and Oncocytic Tumor Alliance

What We Do

The Chromophobe and Oncocytic Tumor Alliance (COA) is a non-profit organization with a mission to bring together and support a community of patients, organizations and researchers dedicated to advancing the understanding, research and treatment of Chromophobe Renal Cell Carcinoma and other oncocytic tumors. We aim to foster collaboration, promote education and awareness, and to fund research to further these efforts.

We are a volunteer based organization and all donations go to supporting and funding research.

Our Focus

Our primary focus in 2023 is supporting, championing and unblocking research for Chromophobe Renal Cell Carcinoma. We will also be building out and adding resources for ChRCC and other renal oncocytic tumors such as oncocytomas, SDH and others throughout the year.

ChRCC
Our mission for ChRCC is to fund research that aims to identify biological hallmarks of ChRCC to deepen learnings across institutions and to support efforts that aim to identify and test distinct therapeutic approaches. Additionally, we aim to promote collaboration, create resources for those affected by the disease and to advance the understanding of ChRCC through the dissemination of knowledge and research.
